Eric Murray and Hamish Bond
Waiting anxiously Eric Murray and Hamish Bond were worried as they started.They started of in a good mode and started getting better.Two french men were taking the lead and they started speed down a and Eric Murray and Hamish Bond came first place.
Pheidippides
The Greeks were fighting the Persians and it took a long time.The Greeks won the battle. The Greeks were exhausted when the battle came to and end.Pheidippides was told to run to Athens to tell them joy we won.pheidippides was running from Marathon to Athens. Under the beating sun Phidippides was exhausted.When Pheidippides was running up the mountains he was tired and he was hungry he was also thirsty he tried to be strong. Phidippides never gave up when he was running he tried but he tried not to stop and take a break.As Pheidippides arrived at Athens With one last big effort Pheidippides shouted “Joy we won!” as Pheidippides held up a special leaf.Pheidippides lay down and dies. Pheidippides was a great member of the Greeks he was also the fastest in the Greeks.
Usain Bolt
When When Usain Bolt won the race he felt proud of himself because won the race and he represented his country.He felt thankful for the audience for supporting him .He felt successful when he had won the race and sported his country also he has been waiting for this moment.

Fencing
The Persians and the Greeks use fencing for practicing fighting with the sword fighting.Ancient Egyptians competed in fencing a long long time ago 1190 B.C.There are no killing people now that the people don't want to be killed and now in the Olympic they put a rubber on the tip of the sward.Today at the Modern Olympics they get points and they get Introduce to all the people that are watching.They turn different light one turn green and one turn red the one that turns green is the one who gets a point and the other one that turns red is the person who doesn't get a point.The swards now much more lighter and people don't get killed they have a rubber thing on the tip of the sward so they don't get killed.Sabre, foil and Epee are all different types of swords foil is a type of sword when you can hit your opponent. When you use the epee you can hit anywhere on your body. Sabre is a sword where you can hit head to hips.
The Olympic first game
The Olympics of 1896 in Athens in Greece had fourteen countries taking part with most of the athletes from Greece.This first modern Olympic was the largest meeting of international competitors that had ever occurred.The next Olympics held in Paris four years later was the first to allowed women competitors.This time the Olympics where part of a much bigger event and lasted several months.
Ben Johnson
It was the 100 meter final at the Olympic also it was 1988.It was in Brazil also all eyes were on two men Ben Johnson and Carl Lewis.All people were watching Carl Lewis and Ben Johnson.
The gun went off and they ran as fast as they can to the end of the race .Ben Johnson was leading the race all the other people were far behind of Ben Johnson.Ben Johnson he won the word record everyone was happy.
But they found out Ben Johnson was cheating by taking drugs they double ticked that he took drugs.When they found out Ben Johnson took drugs Ben Johnson was shocked and lost his medal.Carl Lewis got the gold medal he was allowed to keep the gold medal because he did not take drugs.and Ben Johnson was not allowed to compete in the Olympics again he was so shocked.
Pierre de coubertin
After a gap of hundreds of years the Olympics return to Athens in 1896.The reason behind the recreation of the Olympics was because of one man Pierre de coubertin.He admired the Greek ideals of fitness and sporting competitiveness a monk's different communities and hoped that the modern Olympic would bring country closer together.
