Walt:use strategies to solve multiplication and division problems

Task description: For this task we had to use a different type of strategy to figure out the different multiplication problems.We had  questions like 26 x 6 then we split the problem so that we have 20 x 5 and 6 x 5 then we add the answer up so we can get the answer.Then for division we had to times the lowest number by something to get the highest number on the division problem.

Task description:For this task we had to find out how many choices could Tatiana make out of her 3 courses?. She had to choice of pizza and ice cream or pancakes ,fish and chips and ice cream or pancakes and salad and ice cream or pancakes.The answer was 6 she could make out of her 3 courses.

Task description:This week we had to work out 20 maths questions.We also had to try to write down how we worked out our answers.We had a mixture of questions that have measurement addition and division.

Task description :For this task we had to try and solve these question for a review to help us for our test.We had a mix of different word problems that we had to solve and write down the answer and we had to write down what was the answer and how we solve the question.We had some measurement questions and some money questions that we had to solve.

Task description:This week for this task we had to practice our fractions,percents and decimals.We got giving a grid that is 100 square and we had to write down the percentage.On the last slide we had to write down the percent ,fraction and decimals.

Task description:For this task we had to find out the ratio on each slide. First we had to watch a video that will help us with our ratios.Then we had a example of how to do the ratios. We had to try to figure out what the ratio was to the total.

BEDMAS

Task description:For this task we had read a question and answer what do you do first in the order of BEDMAS.  Then once you  finished answering the questions you had a create task which is to make a song about BEDMAS in a group of 2-4.In my group was Punaiuru and Mata we made a BEDMAS song with a version of baby shark.

Task description:For this task we had to try and guess which animal was described.Each letter has a number and the if you find out what all the numbers are you have to find out what the  mystery words are.This task was kind of like Sudoku and the mystery word is  a dog is man's best friend.

WALT: Use BEDMAS to evaluate expressions

Task description:This week in maths we learnt what are bedmas which is also known as the Order of  operations.We had to play a Bedmas  version of Pac man on cool maths games. We had to try and beat our own high score on math man.

Task description:For this task we had to use Variables for to stand for something.On the next task we had to the Rule and equations and how much it cost for each person.Over all I needed help to understand but then  it was easy once I understood.

Task Description:This weeks task is to try and Identify the colour pattern.After we did the colour pattern we had to identify shapes.When we finished doing the shapes task we had to try find out the number pattern like how much to add or how much to subtract.

Task Description: This task was just extra for early Finishers and I finished my work early so I did this task.We had to add at lest add up three different decimals together. I found the second question  confusing but Because I did not know if it was add or subtract.

Task Description:This week we had to find out how to change decimals to fractions.In the task we have to watch a video and list somethings that you learnt from the video. After we listed everything we learnt we had to try and guess the decimals in numbers.

Task Description: We had to Find out the perimeter ,area and volume of each object.After we did that I had to watch I video of how to find out the perimeter,area and volume of each object/shape then we had to list things that we learned from the video.We also had one triangle Question.

Task description:For this task we had to find out the area,perimeter and volume of each shape.We also had to explain how we found out the area ,perimeter  and volume of each shape.Volume was the hardest to understand.

Task description: For this task we had to find out what was the Perimeter  of each triangle .We Had to add up all of the measurement then we had to subtract 180 and then we got the answer.This task was really challenging to understand but at the end I finally understood how to find the perimeter.
