Maths - Decimals

Task description : For this task we had to answer a few decimal questions and then we had to try and figure out how to simplify decimals.Then on the last slide we had a create task we had to make your own dart game using decimals.If you go to the last slide you can see the dart game I made and you can also see the rules.

Sam bacon

Task description : Today we found out that kiwi sailor Sam bacon is donating clothes to our school to help us prepare for camp.We are really grateful and would like to thank Mr Bacon.

Task description : For this task we had to understand how to use a decimat. On the first slide we had a video that showed us how to use the decimat then we had to do the rest of the decimat slides.I enjoyed doing this task and understanding decimals better. 

Reading - Bootcamp

Walt : Identify common themes from a range of texts

Task description : For this task we had to read a book about boot camp.After we read the book we had to predict what would happen after the story.Then we had to listen to a song and we had to write how does the song relate to Joey's character.

Recount - Marshmallow tower

Today in room 4 Mrs Stone told us that we have to try and make a tower in our reading group using spaghetti noddles we also had to put a marshmallow on top.In my group was  Ray jae , Nina , Aaliyah and Hannah.Our first idea was to try make four long strands of spaghetti noddles and try make a square but that didn't work out.Then we decided to make a triangle and that worked out better then a square.We made six long sticks and taped it together so that it was three long sticks.We taped the 3 long sticks together and it made a 3d triangle.Then on top of the triangle we put up two sticks on the top to add more height and we also made 1 piece of spaghetti noddle stick up so that we could stick the
 marshmallow on top.But we couldn't balance the spaghetti tower and it fell but Mrs Stone got the measurement in time and the measurement was 93 cm .

The watcher of the south

Task description : For this task we listened to Miss Tapuke tell us the myth and legend of the watcher of the south.We also had to try and guess what order does the story goes in on paper before we go told the story.Then we had to sum up the story into notes and record us saying the story.

Cambodia

Task description :For this task we had to create a poster about Cambodia.As you can see in the poster I wrote down a few fun facts about Cambodia.
