Matariki

Last week on Friday the 28th of June The whole of Pt England Celebrated the Maori New year also known as Matariki.This week on Friday the 5th of July we hae a Matariki Light trail at Maybury reserve.We got to chose four workshops to go to there was cooking , movie making, arts and crafts and sports.I got to go in arts in crafts.My two workshop teachers where Whea Kelly and Whea Francis.We learnt a new song.It was about a boat paddling to Aoteroea.I was a lot of fun.
